Nice. I have often ran into people like that, they think if they talk above your head you will obviously change the subject to one they can understand...I just look at them like their stupid and then go on with the original subject.
Absolutely. Although I still think there's something in that "boating with geneticists" analogy. I'll have to think about it a little longer. Could it be because DNA exists in water and boats float on water? No, that's probably not it...
